BIO
Welcome. I’m a Black, queer, and neurodivergent therapist dedicated to helping you navigate the complexities of living within systems that weren’t built for your flourishing. With a B.A. in Women’s Studies, an MSW, and a background in Educational Leadership, my practice—Say More Therapy—is rooted in the belief that healing is a revolutionary act. Having spent seven years in public school systems battling institutionalized thinking, I understand the exhaustion of navigating the status quo. I’m here to help you deconstruct those rigid expectations and reclaim your internal sense of authority.
As a Black woman with family roots in the South, I hold a deep understanding of historical and intergenerational trauma. I know that living in a capitalistic, patriarchal, and racist society is heavy work, and I recognize how the mental health system itself can be a source of harm. In our space, these aren’t just buzzwords; they are lived realities we address head-on.
Whether you are navigating anxiety rooted in uncertainty, exploring your identity as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, or managing the unique “wiring” of a neurodivergent brain, my approach is soft, truthful, and collaborative. We move away from performative healing and toward a liberatory path that prioritizes your personal intuition and ancestral wisdom. Together, we will evaluate the space that anxiety and trauma take up in your life and work toward a state of grounded ease and self-reclamation. You don’t have to “do it all” here. You just have to be you.
