Nicole Carey

Nicole Carey is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), therapist, and owner of Empowering Solutions Counseling. She holds a BA in Psychology from Wayne State University, an MA in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix, and an MA in Counselor Education from Oakland University. Throughout her career, she has worked in the public and private sectors, always with the goal of helping clients live their fullest, most satisfying lives. Nicole established Empowering Solutions Counseling to enable individuals, couples, and families to work through mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and grief, in a secure, confidential environment. As an empathetic and experienced counselor with over 20 years in human services, Nicole’s client-centered modalities empower people to face life challenges, process emotions, heal and grow to be their best.
