BIO
Feeling overwhelmed and trying to find balance, going through a challenging transition, or navigating singleness or issues in your relationship(s)? You may need a listening ear and someone to give you another perspective. I enjoy helping adults affirm their identity and personality, find belonging, and process difficult emotions. I also offer Christian counseling, pre-marital counseling, counseling to couples in their early years of marriage, and counseling to older adults navigating aging-related issues.
My areas of interest include emerging adulthood, self-worth & identity concerns, mood disorders, navigating pressure & boundaries, deepening understanding in relationships, multicultural concerns, third culture individuals, and Christian faith issues. I have experience with college students, working adults, caregivers, and older adults.
My approach is client centered & collaborative. I value being genuine, compassionate, and in-tune to each individual, couple, group or family with whom I work. My therapeutic work has also been informed by my travels to and living in multiple countries (Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal, El-Salvador, and France) and U.S. states.
